IDPA 2010 Classifier Results
Once again the black cloud follows over the new IDPA director, literally. The forecast predicted 70% chance of rain and strong thunderstorms all day. Everyone knew it, nobody cared!
Another record turnout for the 2010 ALGC Classifier; 64 registered shooters, 65 shoots, 5850 rounds sent down range across 5 ranges. That is the kind of thunder we all love to hear.
This year's Classifier went as smooth as it could under the conditions. First, I want to thank all my help and SO’s that showed up. This event could have never happened without them: Susan Lacosh for doing the registration, Rudy Lacosh and Joe DeRosa, Angle Green and Nate Wilson, Dave Klute, Tim Mcgowan, Amanda and Beth Caplinger, and anyone I might of forgotten. Hats off to all of you for giving up your Saturday to make this event happen. A Big thanks to my co-director John Moson. John has run this program for the past 10 years and it only rained twice in that time. Since I have taken it over, it has rained every match. Thanks John, we are all getting a lot of use out of our rainwear.
I want to thank all the participants from the “Woman on Target” for continuing there interest in IDPA. The Fuscoe family looked like they where having the time of there life. It made it all worth it watching 3 generations from one family participating in this sport, definitely quality family time. Great job guys. Karen from WOT did not even have a gun. I lent her mine. She was the first shooter, and spent the rest of the day watching and interacting with everyone. Anytime Karen.
