Match - March 28, 2010All I can say is that there were 29 shooters that are truly dedicated to the sport at ALGC March 28th. My hat's off to all of you who came out to shoot this match. If you like rain, mud, and shooting, you where at the right place.
The first match of 2010 was one we will not forget. 29 shooters showed up with 4 courses of fire. Congratulations to Nathan Wilson for taking the overall with a 70.83 and top scores in 3 of the 4 stages. Nate is also ALGC’s new Tactical Rifle and Shotgun director. Check out the schedule of the tactical
events. Dave Clute took 2nd overall with a 77.20, and John Moson close behind with a 77.65.
I want to thank my Co Director John Moson, Rudy Lakosh, and Tim McGowan, for spending there entire Sunday morning in the rain helping set up for this event. I want to thank Dave Clute for formatting my COF’s. The rain pretty much destroyed these, but these are the most detailed COF’s I have ever seen. Big thanks to George Durika from “The Combat Cuisine” for making our lunch happen in the kitchen. Please welcome George to ALGC. He just became a member. He has been working in that kitchen for 3 years and was never even a member. He told me he did it because he loves to spend time and chat with all of us.
Hope everyone had a good time, and don’t forget to introduce as many people as you can to the sport. The next shoot is the IDPA Clinic on April 24th , see you all then!
